Khaatim Sherrer El
Khaatim is a native Newarker whose work spans leadership positions within Newark Public Schools, rewriting district discipline policies, launching initiatives to improve college and career readiness and much more. Khaatim is a graduate of Morehouse College with a bachelor’s degree in Urban Studies and Public Policy. He received his master’s from Teachers College at Columbia University in Organizational Development with a concentration in Change Management and Leadership. As part of OYN, Khaatim is working to go upstream to deal with the issues that make opportunities in life feel out of reach for our young people, and create solutions that help young people find connection.
